Truveo logoTruveo released a major update to its websites in the U.S.
and in 16 countries worldwide. Improvements include faster viewing of
videos, easier video sharing, social ratings and improved display of
related content. According to Kevin Conroy, EVP AOL Products, the new
Truveo site âonly improves what is already the best video search
experience.â
In addition, Truveo was ranked as the best video search engine in
France by Micro Actuel, a weekly French computer magazine. The
magazine highlighted Truveo's relevant results, impressive quantity
and easy sorting and sharing options as favorite features.
AOL Radio Wins Apple Design Award

AOL Radio for iPhoneAOL Radio won a coveted Apple Design Award for a
version of the player designed for the iPhone. AOL Radio for iPhone
gives iPhone users free access to more than 200 AOL Radio stations and
150 CBS Radio stations while on the go. Among other features, the
player automatically adjusts the bandwidth of the stream based on
connection speed, and automatically highlights local CBS Radio
stations based on the user's current location. The award represents a
significant milestone in AOL’s efforts to “get back to the Mac.”
